Info for Everyone

Under these guidelines:

"CSSDR" is short for "Data Recovery Services " a corporation based in the India with the following address: " C-315 Meriton Plaza, Oppo. Varach Banck, Yogi chowk, Surat, Gujrat, India -395010"

Any organization, company, or individual that has the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and has sent or will send digital media and related peripherals to CSSDR for data recovery services to one of its offices or postal boxes globally (a list of which can be found on our website, www.cssdr.com) is referred to as a "Client" in this context.

"Media" includes drives for hard drives, floppy disks, USB disks, external hard drives (with the hard disk firmly attached to the enclosure), RAID5,s, PCs, and any other type of storage medium. Data stored on tapes or any other electronic media supplied to CSSDR

"Peripherals" include everything that isn't directly connected to the media, such as cables, leads, controller cards, and any external enclosures that aren't permanently attached but nevertheless allow the media to hold digital data.

Except as otherwise provided in our website's general terms and conditions, these terms and conditions solely govern the return of the client's digital media to CSSDR; they do not govern the transportation of any recovered data.

Although CSSDR will take all necessary precautions to protect your media while it is in our care, we cannot be held liable for any damage or loss that may occur to any caddy as a result of opening them to access the internal HDDs. This could lead to permanent injury or destruction. Therefore, we will only be returning the internal HDDs and not the broken external caddy.

If the work needed to perform the data recovery service nullifies a guarantee, CSSDR is not responsible.

Any client-supplied peripherals, such as cables, original boxes, etc., may be discarded unless otherwise requested (either verbally during the inquiry or in a written letter included with the shipment). If the device's original packaging is needed for a warranty claim, CSSDR will not be held liable for replacing any discarded parts.

If the original media is not requested returned within 14 days of declining the quotation or sending the recovered data, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the media is disposed of in an environmentally appropriate manner. If the original media is requested to be returned beyond the day period and we have already disposed of it in an environmentally appropriate way, the company cannot be held responsible or liable for any ongoing warranty claims about its return.

Services for Shipping

CSSDR promises to ship all returned items at no cost to customers, regardless of whether they have made a purchase. However, customers must note that this offer does not apply to RAID5 drives, drives that came with peripherals, or drives weighing more than 2 kilograms.
The customer acknowledges that we process ordinary mail returns once a month, on the last working day of the calendar month.

The client acknowledges that the estimated delivery time per method (regular mail, 5 days, and courier, 15 working days) is computed from the date of recovery.

The customer acknowledges that the delivery dates provided in 2.3 are not binding and that CSSDR is not liable for any damages caused by standard mail or courier service delays.
By using this service, the customer agrees that their media and/or peripherals could be stored at any of CSSDR 's offices around the world and that the free return shipping is only for regular mail and not for courier services. They also agree to the following:

Since a signature might not be necessary, the customer agrees that CSSDR must merely give proof of shipment.

The customer agrees to accept a copy of the shipment's front label (with postage and address) as evidence of shipment or a tracking number from one of the carriers mentioned in

The customer understands that regular mail providers do not always provide tracking numbers.

CSSDR will not be held liable for any media or peripheral losses caused by the postal service, as long as evidence of shipping can be provided by the client.

Only a heads up, this is only a minimum cost. We'll have to look at each item separately and give you a price when you ask.

CSSDR allows a variety of payment methods for shipping services, including major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, and AMEX), PayPal, and bank transfers.

The client agrees to accept a tracking number from any of these carriers as proof of dispatch for any packages sent by the courier service, which is DHL or UPS.

Finding replacement media or peripherals

Customers understand and agree that CSSDR will not be held financially liable for any materials lost in transit with any postal or courier service, even if the company provides evidence of shipment.

In the event that any media or peripherals provided to CSSDR are deemed defective, the client acknowledges that their monetary value cannot exceed Rs:500, Rs:1000, or Rs:500. This limitation on liability applies in the event that any materials are misplaced prior to shipment.

Section four:

According to the laws of England and Wales, the client must have the legal right to request data recovery services, and all media and content submitted to CSSDR must also be legitimate.
